Charles M Wilson

Mr. Charles M. Wilson age 82, passed away on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Bedford Care Center in Newton, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday May 1, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 12:50 PM at First Pentecostal Church in Forest, MS. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at First Pentecostal Church in Forest, MS. Burial will follow at Ephesus Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Brother James Rushing and Brother Bill Pittman will be officiating.

Mr. Wilson was a Forest, MS resident for the past 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Percy and Lucy Bell Coats Wilson; two brothers; Arthur J and Earnest Wilson; three sisters; Sylvia Taylor, Barbara Vaughn and Mary Parker.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years; Pearl Wilson of Forest, MS; two daughters; Linda McNeal (Horace) of Forest, MS and Sherry Wilkerson (David) of Forest, MS; two sons Melvin Wilson (Nell) of Polkville, MS and Jimmy Wilson (Steve) of Richland, MS; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Caleb McNeal, Channing McNeal, Tyler Wilson, Anthony Giggs, Steve Jones, and Mitchell Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are Massion Westby-Gibson, Hunter Westby-Gibson,Grayson, Garrett and Kaiden McNeal, Tristen McNeal, Lexton and Devon Gibbs.

Mr. Wilson’s family would like to extend their appreciation to Bedford Care Center and staff and Quality Hospice.
