Rodney Jack Willis

Rodney Jack Willis, age 69, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Select Specialty in Baptist Hospital, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31,2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will take place at 2:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ken Weldon will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Homewood Methodist Cemetery in Homewood, MS.
Rodney was born to Lloyd Willis and Margaret Gibbs Willis on October 28, 1952, in Moultrie, GA. He has lived in the Pearl/Jackson MS area for around forty years. Rodney was a hard working family man. He was known as Paw Paw by many. Rodney loved fishing in his younger years. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.
He is preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Margaret Willis; brothers, Ricky and Randy Willis; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents; two grandsons, Isaiah and Stephen. Rodney is by survived wife, Susan Willis of Pearl, MS; five children, Sterlin Willis (Leah) of Richland, MS, Stephanie Willis of Berlin, GA, Rodney “Bubba” Willis (Jamie) of Morton, MS, Tasha Miller (Kevin) of Pearl, MS and Janee Willis of Canada; sister, Debbie Spence of Moultrie, GA; brother, Roger Willis of Moultrie, GA; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
