Mrs. Mary Williams, age 77, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at MS Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held Friday September 7, 2018 from 6:30PM until 8:00PM and Saturday September 8, 2018 from 9:00AM until 10:15AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will be held Saturday September 8, 2018 at 11:00AM at Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Burial will follow at Ebeneezer Baptist Cemetery in Lawrence, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Victor Bugg, Bro. John Cash, and Bro. Tommy Tanner. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Williams lived in Lawrence, MS for the past sixty years, where she moved from Clarke County, MS and she is a Baptist in Faith. She is a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. She was a member of the Lawrence and Conehatta Community Club. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, supporting them in all their activites.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glover Barrett and Elsie Heard; her husband, George “Shorty” Williams; two brothers, Charlie Barrett and John Barrett; and one sister, Allie Mae Rich. She is survived by her two sons, George Alfred Williams (Debby) of Newton, MS; and Jerry Wayne Williams (Lisa) of Newton, MS; two sisters, Linda Kramer of Bentonville, AR; Becky Addy of Newton, MS; two brothers, Jimmy Barrett (Pam) of Bentonville, AR; Billy Barrett of Bentonville, AR; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Williams (Beth); Chris Williams (Cori); Matt Williams (Ashlei); Josh Williams; Andrew Williams (Shayla); Samuel Williams; Zach Hammons; and Brittany Torrence (David). Nine great grandchildren; also a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Williams, Chris Williams, Matt Williams, Josh Williams, Andrew Williams, Samuel Williams, and Zach Hammons. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Williams, Caleb Williams, Robby Pierce, and David Torrence.
