Roger Westberry

Mr. Roger Dale Westberry, age 65, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Monday May 18, 2015 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services and again on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 10:50 AM at New Liberty Baptist Church in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at New Liberty Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Paul Smith and Bro. Earl Clark. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Roger was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS and he was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Morton, MS. He was a 1967 graduate of Morton High School where he lettered in football. After graduation and serving his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He went to ECCC and Milsaps and then studied pharmacy at Northeast Louisania. He enjoyed his horses, cattle and building furniture.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, F.A. and Sybil Westberry; one sister, Susan Lyle; two brothers, Donnie and William Westberry. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Clark Westberry of Morton, MS; two daughters, Deneshia Mayes and husband Joey of Morton, MS, Whitney Woitt and husband Eddie of Morton, MS; one son, Brad Westberry and wife Brandi of Morton, MS; one sister, Wanda Westberry of Morton, MS; one brother, Jimmy Westberry and wife Joyce of Morton, MS; one sister-in –law, Janie Westberry of Morton, MS; one brother-in-law, Robert Lyle of Morton, MS; uncles, Jefferson T. Thompson, J.W. Thompson, Jack Thompson and wife Willie Mae; aunts, Sudie Thompson and Nell Traxler; nine grandchildren, Dylan Mayes, Brooks Holifield, Riley Mayes, Anna Westberry, Braylee Westberry, Bristol Westberry, Bryce Woitt, Brooklynn Woitt and Brantleigh Woitt; father and mother-in-law, Dr. Howard and Jackie Clark of Morton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Bennett, Jimmy Rogers, Richard Vaughn, Billy Beard, Brooks Holifield and Bryce Woitt.
