Marshall Doyle Weems Jr.

Doyle Weems, 49, of Forest, MS born on July 5, 1972, to Marshall Doyle Weems, Sr., and Patricia Jones Weems passed away on August 14, 2021, at Lackey Memorial Hospital, Forest, MS. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday, August 20, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Lake. Services will be on August 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Forest, MS under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Doyle was a lifelong resident of Piketon Community in Scott County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Forest, MS. He loved driving trucks and working with heavy equipment.
Doyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Isaac Eutave Weems and Effie Ola Crimm; Maternal Grandparents, Otis Cleveland Jones and Lottie Evelyn Barber; Parents Marshall Doyle Weems, Sr., and Patricia Weems; Uncle, Isaac Weems.
He is survived by his fiancé, Bettye Jo Jones, of Forest, MS; two sons, Justin Shoemaker (Candi) of Forest, MS and Devon Weems (Shawnna) of Forest, MS; three sisters Marcia Green (C.M.) of Piketon, MS; Sonya Weems of Toomsuba, MS, and Betty Wayne Taylor (Donnie) of Piketon, MS; five grandchildren, Hailey Shoemaker, Bentley Shoemaker, McKinley Weems, Anna-Grace Weems, and Brantley Weems.
Pallbearers will be Devon Weems, Justin Shoemaker, Michael Jones, Garrett Taylor, and Chris Stroud.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bentley Shoemaker and Brantley Weems.
