Johnnie Ruth Weaver

Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Weaver age 94, passed away Thursday June 25, 2020 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. A visitation will be held on Sunday June 28, 2020 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 1:00PM until 1:50PM. A funeral service will follow at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Cash Cemetery in Lena, MS. Reverend Tal Vardaman will officiate.
Mrs. Weaver was born and raised in Smith County, MS. She later moved to Scott County, MS where she worked and retired from Stanwood Corp. in Pelahatchie, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Gibson; her husband Curtis Lee Weaver of Scott County, MS; sons, John F. Weeks and Tommy Lynn Weeks; brother, Carroll Gibson.
She is survived by her children, James D. Weeks (Shelia) of Morton, MS and Shirley Mashburn; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Weeks, Lyndell Hayles and Michael Weeks.
