Wanda Ann Walters

Ms. Wanda Ann Walters, age 59, passed away September 30, 2020 with family at her side. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Friday October 2, 2020 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM and again on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 2:00PM until 2:50PM. A funeral service will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Saturday October 3, 2020 at 3:00PM with burial to follow at Barefoot Springs Cemetery. Bro. John Vaughn will officiate.

Ms. Walters was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Mr. James Earl Walters and Mrs. Lurline Barnes Walters on February 26, 1961. She graduated from Pelahatchie High School in 1979. She went on to pursue degrees at Draughon’s Business College, Hinds Community College, and later on got her Bachelors and Masters at Mississippi College.

She worked many different occupations and excelled at all of them. Her last job that she held for 20+ years was a Financial Coordinator Supervisor at Fresenius Kidney Care. All of her co-workers and employees loved her, even though she was a tough one to please.

She would go above and beyond for anyone. She loved her daughter, and grandchildren. They were her world. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and she adored her church family. She enjoyed taking trips and going to Disney.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Earl Walters, and her mother, Lurline B Walters. She leaves behind a daughter, Kayla Nicole Gray (Matthew), two granddaughters, Faith Daniella Clark & Paisyn Jade Gray, a grandson, James Ace Gray, a brother, Jimmy Walters, and a great aunt and great uncle along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Teddy Derrick, Casey Derrick, Mark Shaw, Brent Bowman, Sam Clark and Bill Irby. Honorary Pallbearers are Justin Shaw and Darwin Shaw.
