Michael Hartman

Michael Hartman, 53, passed away on August 18, 2026, at his home in Pulaski, Mississippi. 

Michael's childhood was filled with four-wheeler rides in the pastures and fishing in the big pond at his grandparents' house next door.   A highlight of his childhood at age 4 was a 2nd visit from Santa Claus (alias Mark Jones) after his parents' home burned a few days after Christmas 1977 in the Ringgold community of Forest.  The entire community shared in the excitement of that Santa visit, with many friends and neighbors there to help. Michael graduated high school at Scott Central High School in 1991.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Troy Hartman, his mother, Debra Lee Hartman, and baby sister Tonya Marie Hartman. Also preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Jack and Opal Hartman, and his maternal grandparents, James and Zelma Lee.

A private graveside service will be held.  Wolf Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
