Liz Thomas-Robbins, 84, a resident of Newton passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Newton, MS. A visitation was held Tuesday May 10, 2011 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at Ruth and Don Markers Home, 1500 SCR 32 B-1, Pulaski, MS 39152. Burial will be in Jerusalem Baptist Cemetery, Williamsville, MS.
Mrs. Robbins was a Baptist and she was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Thomas; second husband, Carl Thomas Robbins; parents, John & Ruth May; brother, Louis May; and sister, Virginia Butler.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth T. Marker and husband Don of Pulaski, MS; one son, James L. Thomas and wife Chris of Portsmouth, VA; four grandchildren, Sharon Norton and husband Thomas, Catlin Thomas, Joe Williams, and Joshua Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Norton, Gage Norton, Adrienne Elizabeth Norton and Thomas Norton, III.
