Mr. Roy J. Smith, age 82, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 at his residence in Wiggins, MS. No Services are planned at this time. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Smith lived in Wiggins, MS for the past 40 years where he moved from Holly Springs, MS. He was a Baptist in Faith and a member of First Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS. He worked with the U.S. Forest Services for thirty-five years, retiring as a Ranger in 1944.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Fay Smith of Wiggins, MS; his son, Chris Smith (Denita) of Wiggins, MS; his daughter, Victoria Smith Lott (John) of Wiggins, MS; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS.
