Rosa Lee Breazeale, born on October 5, 1947, in Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully at her residence in Forest, Mississippi, on August 13, 2026. Rosa's journey through life was defined by her unwavering love for family, devotion to her faith, and a vibrant enthusiasm for the simple joys she found in her everyday pursuits.
Rosa was a beloved wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Stanley Breazeale, whose partnership was a testament to mutual love and respect. Her legacy continues through her son, Jimmy D. (Jacinthia) McDaniel, and her stepdaughter, Jessica (Daniel) Hearn. Rosa's grandchildren—Kerri Morrison, Amber Creel, Jacey Grace, Jackson Hearn, and Emily Frazier—filled her heart with immense pride and happiness, and she cherished every moment spent watching them and her great-grandchildren play ball. The bonds she created within her family will endure as cherished memories.
Rosa was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Gill; her mother, Lillian Albertson; and her three beloved sisters, whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
A member of the Homewood Baptist Church, Rosa drew strength from her faith and was a dedicated participant in her church community, finding comfort and purpose among fellow congregants.
Known for her love of fishing and cooking, Rosa delighted in gathering loved ones together, especially during the holidays and while preparing for each New Year.
Throughout her life, Rosa radiated kindness, joy, and dedication to those she loved. Her generous spirit uplifted all who knew her. She found special fulfillment in witnessing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, and her encouragement and presence at their activities left a lasting mark.
Friends and family are invited to remember and celebrate Rosa at the Visitation, which will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Homewood Baptist Church, located at 11565 Morton-Marathon Rd, Forest, MS 39074. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Homewood Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Doyle Boyles. Interment will take place at Homewood Baptist Cemetery, 12339 Morton-Marathon Rd, Forest, MS 39074.
Rosa Lee Breazeale's life was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her steadfast love, her faith, and her joy for life.
