David N. Robinson, 86, a resident of Morton passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 at Scott Regional Hospital, Morton, MS. Visitation was Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from1:00 until 1:45 PM and services were in the chapel at 2:00 PM with burial following at 3:30 PM in the Lakewood Memorial Park, Jackson, MS. Officiating was Rev. Earl Clark. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robinson had lived in Morton for the past 13 yrs, moving from Jackson, MS, and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton, MS. Mr. Robinson was a retired homebuilder in Jackson for over 50 yrs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bessie Robinson; two brothers, Medrick and Jimmy Robinson; two sisters, Emma Lee Weeks and Mildred Champion; first wife, Mary Ruth Lott Robinson in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Autry Tucker Robinson of Morton; three sons, David H. Robinson and wife Connie of Clinton; Daniel A. Robinson and wife Glenda of Clinton; Randy G. Robinson and wife Teresa of Brandon; one daughter, Mickeleen Mullins and husband Claude of Mendenhall; three step-sons, Jim Tucker and wife Nancy of Madison; William C. “Skip” Tucker and wife Barbara of Meridian; and Bob Tucker of Morton; one brother Johnny Ray Robinson of Morton; one sister, Bertha Edwards of Morton; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steven Robinson, Justin Robinson, Aaron Robinson, Steven Savell, Robert Kane and Jason Mullins.
