Glenwood Renfrow, 91, of Brandon went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 8, 2018. He passed peaceful at home surrounded by his loving family. Glenwood was born July 2, 1927. He was an army veteran and served from December 1948 to July 6, 1951. He worked at GE (Jackson Lamp-work) for 38 years before he retired. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and playing dominos and he loved the Atlanta Braves. He is a current member of Crossgates UMC, Brandon, MS and was a long time member of Epworth UMC, Jackson MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Bertha Renfrow and his brothers Lois (Eleanor) J.W. (Lou Ella) Dwight and sister Gwendola (James). His brother in law, Douglas Herring.
He is survived by his loving and loyal wife of 66 years, Billie Jo, sons Phil (Mary) and Steve. Three grandchildren, Tava Bass (Alan), Brandon Renfrow, Cole Renfrow and three great grandchildren, Parker, Ty and Caroline Bass. Sisters-in-Law, Clemis Renfrow and Mozelle Herring. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his little buddy “BB”.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 and funeral services will be held at Wolf Funeral home in Morton, MS at 11:00 with burial at Morton Memorial Garden following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossgates United Methodist Church memorial fund at 23 Crossgates Dr, Brandon, MS 39042.
