Mr. Alonzo Redeemer, Jr., age 72, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS and Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12:00PM until 1:00PM at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Morton, MS. Services will follow February 9, 2019 at 1:00PM at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Morton, MS. Burial will follow February 9, 2019 at Masonic Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Willie Jones. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Redeemer was a resident of Morton, MS for the past 30 years, formerly living in Wiggins, MS. He was a member of Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Morton, MS. He retired from International Paper Company and Morton Home Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Sr. and Irene Redeemer; two brothers, John Williams and Kenneth Ray Redeemer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Redeemer of Morton, MS; two daughters, Tonya Redeemer Moore of Wiggins, MS; Brittnay Taylor Caston (Terrence) of Arlington, TX; his son, Broderick Taylor (Trenia) of Brandon, MS; three sisters, Delorice Redeemer of Wiggins, MS; Brenda Redeemer of Wiggins, MS; Sandra Fay Hall of Wiggins, MS; four brothers, Aaron Redeemer (Teresa) of Wiggins, MS; Maurice Redeemer of Wiggins, MS; Larry Redeemer of Wiggins, MS; George Redeemer (Glenda) of Huntsville, AL; his mother-in-law, Arvell Palm of Morton, MS; four brother-in-laws, Charlie Palm (Diana); Sylvester Palm, Jr. (Shirley B.); Titus Palm (Shirley A.); Neal Palm (Debra); four sister-in-laws, Betty Qualls (Rev. Johnny); Queen Keys (Kennis); Alberta Brown; and Teresa Lindsey. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kamal Silas, Michael Palm, Rodney Palm, Keith Redeemer, Fredrick Qualls, John Milloy, and Tim Palm.
