Raymond Rawson

Mr. Raymond J. Rawson age 88, passed away Monday June 8th 2020 at MS Care Center in Morton, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday June 11th 2020 from 1:00PM until 1:50PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Brother Andy Boles will officiate. Burial will be at North Morton BC Cemetery.There will be no graveside services.
Mr. Rawson had lived in the Morton, MS area since the mid 70’s after moving from Arkansas. A Baptist by faith, he was a member of North Morton Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, coon hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Audrey Kay Rawson; daughters, Linda Audrey Fontan and Glenda Dean Spangler and granddaughter, Stephanie Fontan. He is survived by his sister, Vera George of Forkville, MS; brother, Joe Rawson of Kalem, MS; three grandchildren, Angela, Stevie Wayne and Mitchell; four great-grandchildren, Zack, Caleb, Trace and Ty and one great-great grandchild, Zaylee Kate Hayman.
