Mark Edward Quick, 62, born December 13, 1959, passed away on December 31, 2021 at his home in Rankin County. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will be held on January 6, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel with Bro. Carl Rigby officiating.
Mark was a lifelong resident of Pelahatchie. He was Baptist by faith. He loved yard sales, auctions and loved to draw.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Allie Inez Quick; grandparents, Hubert and Rosa Lee Purvis and James Quick and Oren & Hattie Lott; grandson, Douglas Hord. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Quick of Pelahatchie, MS; son, Mark Daniel “ Pookie” Quick (Jennifer) of Pelahatchie, MS; daughter, January Hord (Brad) of Raleigh, MS; four grandchildren, Logan Quick, Sandrea Hord, Madison Fernald (Brandon), Matthew Scott; two great grandchildren, Oaklynn Fernald, and Katalina Fernald and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
