Stanley Clark Puckett

Stanley Clark Puckett, age 68, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at his residence in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 12:50 PM. Services will take place at 1:00 PM all at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Harperville Memorial Park in Forest, MS. Bro Todd McLemore and Bro. Scott Phillips will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Stanley was born to R B Puckett and Elna Ruth Hollingsworth Puckett on January 24, 1955, in Taylorsville, MS. He loved to sit on the porch and watch squirrels, rabbits and the birds. Stanley enjoyed looking at flowers growing in the yard. He liked to fish and watch wildlife. He spent a lot of his time working on cars and trucks when he was able.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, R B and Elna Ruth Puckett; brother, Donald Puckett and a sister, Beverly Puckett Hughes. He is survived by his significant other, Barbara Shoemaker of Forest, MS; bonus son, Charles (Sara) Shoemaker of Harperville, MS; three brothers, Bobby (Susan) Puckett of Clinton, MS, Perry (Elizabeth) Kearney of Russellville, AR and Roy Dale Puckett of Byram, MS; sister, Linda Puckett (John) Miller of White Oak, MS special brother-in-law, James Hughes; one love of his life grandchild, Alizabeth Shoemaker of Harperville, MS; fur baby, Roxie and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Charles Shoemaker, Perry Kearney, Steve Shepherd, Todd McLemore, Adam McLemore, Ray Harper and Justin McLemore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny C. Ellis, Bill Neal and James Hughes.
