Lana San Juan Porter, 65, a resident of Forest passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at her residence. Visitation was held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 9:30 am at Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery and graveside services was at 10:00 am. Officiating was Rev. Doug Rouse. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Lana had lived in Forest, MS for most of her life moving from Sebastopol, MS where she lived during childhood and she was a member of Church of God All Seasons Worship Center in Forest, MS. She loved reading and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Porter of Canton, MS; three daughters, Tonya Ball and Jerri Renfroe both of Forest, MS; Chris Hernandez of Dallas TX; three sons, Eddie Anderson of Forest, MS; Chuck Mosley of Magee, MS; Reggie Horton of Austin, TX; one brother, Jimmy Fisher of Lake; two sisters, Charlotte Reisenbichler of Austin, TX; Williana Lutts of Carthage, MS; twelve grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
