Jerry D. Pearson, 85, a resident of Conehatta passed away Monday, August 01, 2011 at MS. State Veterans Home, Kosciusko, MS. Graveside services were Saturday, August 06, 2011 at 11:00 am with Military Rites. Officiating was Chaplain Tom Bentley. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pearson was a lifelong resident of Conehatta, MS. He was a member of the Conehatta Baptist Church in Conehatta, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and in the Air Force during peacetime.
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace “Cookie” Pearson on 12/31/2004. He is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Clark and husband Raymond of Conehatta; Donna Pearson of Fort Worth, TX; one son, Jerry Dale Pearson of Conehatta, MS; three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
