Patricia Sue Tucker, age 64, of Pulaski, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025.
Born to the late Helen Ruth Beech of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, and James Winston Beech of Florida, Patricia lived a life filled with love, resilience, and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Ruth Beech and James Winston Beech; her sister, Rebecca Jordan of Pearl; her nephew, Jessie James Beech; her brother-in-law, Ricky Dale Tucker; her sister-in-law, Ethel Ates; her granddaughters, Briannah Nichole Moore and Emily Grace Yarrington; and her dear friend and mother-in-law, Theresa Yarrington. Patricia now rejoins her beloved husband of 25 years in Heaven.
Patricia is survived by her brother, James Winston Beech of Richland, Mississippi; her daughters, Misti (Dusty) Yarrington of Pulaski, Rhonda (Tyler) Derriso of Florence, Angela (Kenneth) Franklin of Morton, and Tori Peavy of Carthage; her son, Trenton Tucker of Carthage; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She cherished her role as mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Patricia had a gift for connecting with people. She loved spending time with family and friends, and she found joy in politics and social media, where she could keep close to those she held dear. She was happiest with a Coca-Cola in hand, classic rock playing in the background, and her loved ones close by. Above all else, Patricia loved her grandchildren deeply and wanted everyone to know that her children were her pride and joy. Her laughter, warmth, and steadfast spirit will be remembered always.
She also had a heart so big she practically gave everything away, sometimes even things she probably should have kept. If you needed it, she’d find a way to hand it over with a smile (and maybe a Coke). It was just who she was: generous to a fault, and funny enough to make you laugh while she did it.
And if you messed with her children, well, let’s just say Patricia had a way of making sure you knew better. She was protective, fierce in her love, and never afraid to stand up for the ones who called her Mom.
A private celebration will be held at a later date.
