Billy Pace

Mr. Billy Moore Pace, age 83, passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at his home in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS and again on Sunday November 26, 2017 from 1:00PM until 1:50PM at Cash Baptist Church in Lena, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday November 26, 2017 at 2:00PM at Cash Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Savell and Rev. Kenny Lang officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow in the church cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Pace was a member of the Cash Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World, the Telephone Pioneers, and the North Central Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vergie Lou Pace; his parents, L.D. and Ima Pace; two sons, Mike and William Pace; two sisters, Sara Hurtt and Wilma Pace; and two brothers, James and Jimmie Pace. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Lynn Walker of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Mary Norris of Meridian, MS; two brothers, Jack Pace and Milton Pace both of Meridian, MS; five grandchildren, Josh Slay, Erika Engburg, Gina Shuler, Crystal Sheffield, and Brandon Walker; and a host of great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lath Harrell, Jeff Harrell, David Gatewood, Danny Wayne Weaver, Rod Sanders, and Elvis Shaw.
