It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Idarrious Iantron Tyrious Bowie, who was tragically taken too soon on June 5, 2026, and was pronounced deceased at the Merit River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi. Born on July 17, 1998, in Hinds County, MS, Idarrious was a lifelong resident of Ludlow, MS, and his loss leaves an indelible void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Idarrious was a cherished member of the Mt. Zion M.B. Church and a proud graduate of Morton High School, Class of 2017. A gifted athlete, he first showcased his remarkable football talents by earning the distinction of being the inaugural recipient of the "Mr. Football" title in 3A in 2016. Following high school, he pursued his passion for football at the University of Mississippi, playing with the Ole Miss Rebels, before transferring to Jackson State University to continue his collegiate football career with the Tigers for two years. After graduation, he briefly worked at Jackson State University for one year before embarking on a new professional journey in the landscaping business. Beyond his athletic and professional accomplishments, Idarrious possessed a profound love for his family, football, and basketball, which brought joy and meaning to his life.

Idarrious’s memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him. He is survived by his devoted father, Arthur Washington; loving mother, Regina Bowie; beloved children, daughter Bailee Bowie and son Legend Jones; dear sister, Inikia (Joel) Bowie-Hughes; and brothers Irishma Bowie, Ikeon Bowie, and Iverson Bowie. He was also a beloved grandson and great-grandson, fondly remembered by Rutha Bowie (maternal grandmother), Cardell Hall (maternal grandfather), and paternal great-grandmothers Susie Washington and Myra Luckett. A number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family also mourns the loss alongside the memories of his brother, Ityrious Bowie, as well as his great-great-grandparents, Myrtle Bowie and Tibbie Bowie.

A visitation to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Idarrious Iantron Tyrious Bowie will be held on June 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services - Morton, located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, MS 39117. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at the church to be determined. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the church yet to be determined. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Idarrious’s spirit are invited to gather, share memories, and pay their respects.

Idarrious’s life, though brief, was filled with passion, achievement, and deep connections, leaving a lasting legacy for his family and community. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
