Troy Monk

Randy Monk, 51, a resident of Morton passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 1:00 until 1:45 pm and the funeral services were at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in the High Hill Baptist Cemetery in Sebastopol, MS. Officiating was Bro. Ricky Watkins. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Monk had lived in Morton, MS since 1998, and he was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Morton, MS. Randy was the 1st resident of the Morton Group Home in 1998 and he worked as a Stamper with Morton Industries.
Mr. Monk was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Helen Monk. He is survived by one brother, Freddie Goss of Vancleave, MS; caretakers, Travis and Rachel Brooks of Forest, MS; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Morton Group Home, which is Randy’s extended family, for their love and care for all of these years.
Honorary pallbearers were his friends at the Morton Group Home.
