Sarah R. Mcmillan

Mrs. Sarah R. McMillan, age 71, passed on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, form 1:30 PM until 3:20 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will take place Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 PM. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Dr. Joe Pate will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Mrs. McMillan was born to Robert Wilson Bounds and Mary Carpenter on February 18, 1951, in Forest, MS. She lived most of her life in Forest, MS. She was a member of the Gideons Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, especially for family members.
Mrs. McMillan was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Penny Bounds; one son; John McMillan; four brothers, Troy, Don, Gene Stewart and Joe Bounds. She is survived by her husband, Terry McMillan of Forest, MS; daughter, Christi McMillan of Forest, MS; three sisters, Barbara Cornelison of Pelahatchie, MS, Betty Lepard of Carthage, MS and Brenda Boykin of Morton, MS; brother, Jesse Stewart of Houston, TX and two grandchildren Crystal Aldridge and Alex Brenna.
