Willie Lewis McIntosh, 68, passed away at his home in Lake, MS on Friday, March 19, 2021. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. A graveside Service will be held at Strong River Cemetery in Pinola, MS on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00AM. Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Although state requirements have ended, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing to continue helping control the spread of Covid-19.
Willie was born in Jackson, MS on February 10, 1953 to the late Robert Lewis and Mildred Johnson McIntosh. He lived in the Pinola area most of his life and has resided in Lake for about 8 years. Willie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and was very active in his church, he worked with the Jail Ministry, participated in the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Ministry, taught Sunday School at both Strong River and Lake, he served as a deacon and was chairman of deacons at Strong River. Willie never met a stranger, he went out of his way to help people. He had a radiating smile that always brightened his sisters’ day.
Willie is survived by his wife, Donna McIntosh; children, Lacy McIntosh Bounds (Brian) of Ocean Springs, MS, Nicholas Lewis McIntosh (Amy) of Covington, LA, Brian Beckwith (Jennifer) of Lake, MS and Brent Beckwith of Lake, MS; sisters, Jan Grondin (Bob) of Columbus, MS and Judy Robins (Gene) of Pelahatchie, MS; grandchildren, Nicholas Otis Bounds, Gabriel Swain, Brooklyn Beckwith, Alexis Beckwith, Elijah Beckwith, Natalie Beckwith, Tyler Beckwith and Emma Beckwith as well as a host of other family and friends.
