Robert Mccurdy

Mr. Robert E. McCurdy, age 66, passed away on Monday March 05, 2018 at the St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 06, 2018 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 07, 2018 at 10:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with Bro. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. McCurdy was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS and was of the Church of Christ Faith. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and he enjoyed helping people in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan McCurdy and Gwendolyn Stephens; and one brother, Anthony “Sonny” McCurdy. He is survived by his wife, Sue McCurdy of Morton, MS; step-mother, Susie McCurdy of Lena, MS; two sons, Jody McCurdy (Julie) of Morton, MS and Christopher McCurdy (T.J.) of Morton, MS; three sisters, Rita King of Little Rock, AR, Beverly Canady (Ronald) of Baker, LA, and Rhonda Dunn (Jim) of Pearl, MS; two brothers, Ronnie McCurdy (Amy) of Morton, MS and Reggie McCurdy of Lena, MS; five grandchildren, one honorary grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Harrell, Brian Harrell, Ronnie Canady, and Jason Boxx.
