Ruby Mashburn

Mrs. Ruby Louise Nolan Mashburn, age 89, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 6:30PM until 8:00PM Monday, July 30, 2018 and Tuesday July 31, 2018 from 11:00AM until 11:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will be held Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 12:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Glazier. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Mashburn had been a resident of Brandon, MS since 1973 where she moved from Morton, MS. She was a member of Morton United Methodist Church in Morton, MS. Mrs. Mashburn was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Cross. She loved being with her family, cooking, playing bridge and golf.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur F. Mashburn; two sons, James and John B. Mashburn; two sisters, and one brother; She is survived by daughter, Margaret Nelson of Clinton, MS; son, Frank Mashburn, Jr. of Chicago, IL; sister, Connie Simon of Brandon, MS; six grandchildren, Kimberly Grantham, Larry Egnor, Allison Goodwin, Haley Serio, Shanna Davis, and Jamie Mashburn; ten great grandchildren; a number of nieces, great nieces, and great- great nieces. Memorials may be made to the Morton United Methodist Church.
