Mark Daniel (Pookie) Quick

Mark Daniel “Pookie” Quick, age 43, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his residence in Morton, MS.  His memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.  His services will take place at 2:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel.  

Mark was born to Mark Edward Quick and Betty Warren Quick on May 20, 1980, in Hinds County, MS.  He was a lifelong resident of Pelahatchie, MS. And he loved Lego’s and watching TV.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Mark Edward Quick, his grandparents, Edward “Buddy” Quick and Allie “Inez” Quick and his nephew, Douglas Mack Hord.  He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Quick of Pelahatchie, MS, his mother, Betty Quick of Pelahatchie, MS, his son, Logan Wesley Quick of Pelahatchie, MS, his sister, January Hord (Brad) of Raleigh, MS, his nephew, Matthew Tristan Scott (Maddie), his two nieces, Madison Jade Fernald (Brandon), Sandrea Hord (Trystan), his two great nieces, Oaklynn and Katalina Fernald, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
