Mario Cortez Washington
Mario Cortez Washington also known as "Redman" was born on November 12, 1982, to the late Bill Washington Jr. and Billie Joyce Agee. He is preceded in death by 2 siblings: Edward R. Agee and Marion (Red) Z. King. Mario attended Morton High School in Morton, MS. He was a member of Holy Hill Church of God In Christ, late named, Greater Holy Hill Church of God In Christ. In 2016, "Redman" moved his family to Beaumont, TX. He worked at Calderwood Nursing Home as a cook. In 2022, he moved his family to Dallas, TX where they resided until his passing. While in Dallas, TX, Redman worshipped at Grace Place Cathedral COGIC. He was a very loveable, outspoken person that said exactly what was on his mind.
He had a strong lasting bond with his brothers, sisters, children, family and friends. They meant the world to him. He loved to fish, cook, take pictures and go on outings with his family.
Redman leaves to cherish 6 children: Isaiah Washington of
Maryland, Mymuree
Davis, Cortisha Washington, Aquarius
Washington, all of Dallas, TX; Mahria Washington and Kingsley Washington, both of Beaumont. TX; two brothers: Preston T. Agee (ILene) of Morton, MS., Kentress D. Washington of Morton, MS.; three sisters: Kenwanna N. Washington of Dothan, AL; Gwendolyn Holland of Morton, MS, whom he acknowledge as "Ma" & Jackie Agee of Morton, MS. He also leaves to cherish his darling fiancée, Shaquita
"Quita" Shepard and lastly, one puppy daughter whom he named
"Glow" & host of nieces. nephews, aunties, cousin & one uncle.
