Lloyd W. Stokes

Lloyd W. Stokes, 92, passed peacefully into the hands of his Savior early in the morning of Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Beloved by many, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Pam; daughter, Angie; son, Lloyd Jr. (Bub); and numerous siblings, family members, and friends. He is survived by his granddaughter, Jennie; great-grandchildren, Remy and Lily; more nieces and nephews than we can count; and countless others whose lives were blessed by his love and light.

Raised in rural Mississippi among a large family of brothers and sisters, Lloyd met his beloved Pam while still in high school. Together, they built a life that took them across the country and around the world as he served in the United States Air Force and later worked with Lockheed Martin and E-Systems.

Lloyd was a man of deep faith, endless curiosity, and extraordinary kindness. His wonderful, deep laugh, gentle nature, and love of learning remained with him throughout his 92 years.

He was, quite simply, a wonderful man, and he will be dearly missed.
