Gaddis Lee Kyzar, Jr., 63, a resident of Forest passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS. Visitation was held at Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 2:30 until 3:50 pm. Funeral services were Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Ephesus Baptist Church with burial following in the Ephesus Baptist Cemetery. Officiating was Dr. Jim Everett. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kyzar was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS and was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gaddis Kyzar, Sr.; brother, Harris Merle Kyzar.
He is survived by his wife, Omie Kyzar of Forest, MS; mother, Launa Kyzar of Forest, MS; daughters, Charlene Stinson and husband Jimmy of Morton, MS; Janet Thames of Forest, MS; Clara Bender of Nebraska; son, Tony Bender and wife Gloria of Forest, MS; step-son, Eddie King of Forest, MS; step-daughter, Marva Lovelady of Florence, MS; sisters, Estelle Crimm and husband Graden of Forest, MS; Jean King and husband Steve of Sebastopol, MS; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; two step-grandchildren, 2 step- great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bubba Gullette, Marlin Gullette, Steve Bagley, Mike Kyzar, Joey Emmons, Larry Crimm, Le Reece Crimm and Brock Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Stinson, Graden Crimm, and Steve King.
