Mrs. Naomi Kathleen "Kathy" Wilbourne

Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Kathy Wilbourne, a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend whose kindness touched so many lives. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. Kathy was born on April 14, 1939, in Neshoba, Mississippi, to Donny and Viola Dickerson. After graduating from high school, she began pursuing her dreams in music and sharing her talents with the world. A self-taught guitarist, Kathy followed her passion for music and met Bill, the love of her life. They were married on June 26, 1965, and together enjoyed many years touring around the world as country music entertainers through the early 1980s. Kathy was also a devoted homemaker, raising their boys, Steven and Shane, before joining the family furniture business. She retired in 2008. Throughout her life, she gave her heart to her family and to everyone blessed to know her. Her legacy of love, music, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Preceded in death by parents: Donny and Viola Dickerson. Husband: Bill.Brothers: Bob, Ovie, Lewis, and Jim Dickerson. Sisters: Irene Pridgen, Jean Hayes, and Sue Smith. Survived by Sons: Steven (Leah), Shane (Sarah). Stepdaughter: Lisa Easterwood, Daughter in Heart: Sherri Wilbourne. Sisters: Annyce Browning (Jim), Nell Brown (Wayne), a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Wilbourne, Shane Wilbourne, Jake Wilbourne, Joey Rigby, Matthew Malone, Randy Weaver, Ken Sims. Honorary Pallbearer is Maddox Malone, services officiated by Bro. Reid Stevens.
