Joyce Harrison

Joyce Green Harrison, age 103, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Lackey Convalescent Home in Forest, MS.  Her visitation will be on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM all at Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS.  Her services will take place at 4:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Ephesus Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Bro. Chris Harrison and Dr. Jim Everett will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Joyce was born on March 18, 1920, in Jasper County, MS to Charlie Green and Carrie Roebuck. She lived in the Ringgold Community for over seventy years.  Joyce was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, C. M. Harrison; her parents, Charlie and Carrie Green; three sons, Baby Boy Harrison, Bill Harrison and Dan Harrison.  She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Charles Harrison (Sherrod Sims Harrison) of Pontotoc, MS and Tommy Harrison (Wanda) of Forest, MS; her two daughter -in-laws, Andrea Sparks Harrison of Forest, MS, and Frankie Usry Harrison of Meridian, MS; her sister, Farria Green of Florence, MS and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Scott Harrison, Clant Harrison, Denver Harrison, Daniel Harrison, Davis Harrison and Jason Harrison.
