Joseph Tyler White

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Joseph Tyler White, 21, of Lena, MS, after an unexpected car accident on Wednesday morning. 

Tyler graduated from Morton High School in 2023 and worked full-time at Peco Foods in Sebastopol, MS.

He was an avid outdoorsman and found his peace fishing at Low Head Dam with his dad or hanging with his friends on the porch. He built a strong circle of friends who were like family. He was loyal and witty, which would make you laugh until you cried. Tyler had this contagious, silent laugh that would make it hard to stop once he got going.

Tyler was the youngest of four children. He is survived by his mother and father, Danny and Sherry White. His older sisters are Amber White and Tiffany Ball(Zach Ball), and his older brother is James Daniel White(Brianna White). His grandparents, Wanda and Nelson McKenzie.

Services will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 15, at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will take place at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 15. Graveside service to follow at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS.
