Timothy Jones

Mr. Timothy L. “Tim” Jones, 56, passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016 at his residence in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 03, 2017 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM and again on Wednesday January 04, 2017 from 9:00AM until 10:00AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 04, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Conehatta Baptist Church in Conehatta, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Jones and Rev. Tommy Anderson. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery in Newton, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Newton, MS and was a member of the Conehatta Baptist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Newton High School and pursued degrees in Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Disorder, Funeral Service and Nursing. Tim loved to read, watch movies, and fish.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Jones; and his niece, Barbara Thweatt. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Jones of Newton, MS; one sister, Deborah Williams of Newton, MS; one niece, Amy Hollingsworth (Bradley); two nephews, Billy Everett (Dandy) and Michael Everett (Kelly); numerous great nieces and great nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Billy Alawine, Bradley Hollingsworth, Logan Hollingsworth, Brandon Hollingsworth, Josh Thweatt, and Billy Everett. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Conehatta Baptist Church.
