Mrs. Mary Magdalene Johnson, 92, of the Clifton Community, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. There will be a family led graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Wolf Funeral Services of Morton, MS will be directing.
Mrs. Johnson was born on September 21, 1929, to the late Manciel and Nettie Evans. She lived most of her life in Scott County, MS. Mrs. Johnson was an independent person who liked to take care of things herself. She was an avid gardener, an artist who painted beautiful scenery and portraits and she was co-owner and operator of T M Johnson Photography in Forest, MS from 1973 until 1999. Mrs. Johnson also enjoyed shopping, crocheting, and was an excellent cook.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Johnson; parents, Manciel and Nettie and brother, Howard Evans. She is survived by her sons, Glenn Lott (Patricia) and Clayton Lott (Carolyn); grandchildren, Christopher Lott and Nicholas Lott (Jackie) and great grandchildren, Jordan, Hailey, and Coleman Lott.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Lott, Nicholas Lott, Dwight Faulkner, Medric Faulkner, Eddie Evans and Doug Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Denson Faulkner.
