Joe Charles Fox

Joe Charles Fox, Age 84, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his residence in Carthage, MS.  There will be a Private Family Service.

Joe was born on November 12, 1938, in Noxapter, MS to Forest Fox and Elmo Manning Fox. He moved from Scott County, MS to Carthage, MS where he lived for the past seven years.  Joe ws a member of Freeny Methodist Church.  He enjoyed staying busy and making things with his hands.  Joe loved cutting grass and piddling with his jeep.  In his later years he liked watching old westerns and football.  

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Elmo Fox and three siblings.  He is survived by wife of twenty-seven years, Janice Fox; his seven children, Christy (Andy) Bernard, Cindy (Mike) Measom, Teresa (Frank) Gable, Marie (Wayne) Cash, Eddie (Teresa ) Aust, Renay McDaniel and Mike Aust and his three siblings; his sixteen grandchildren; his twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
