Joann Rowse

Joyann Rowse, age 79, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at her home in Chandler, TX.  The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake MS.  Her services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 PM.  Bro. Larry Duncan will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Joyann had a love and passion for life. She was a strong woman who had an amazing ability to put one foot in front of the other through any situation.   Her passion in life was education.   Joyann shared and taught her way of loving others regardless of who they were or where they came from to all children.  She was the light of many people’s world.  Joyann was a strong woman of faith and fought a good fight until her last breath.

Joyann is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Rowse, Sr.; her parents, Jack Hastings and Dora Hastings.  She is survived by her three children, Peter Rowse, Jr. (Martha) of Aberdeen, NJ; Tracy Rowse Gore (Jeff) of Greenville, MS and Julie Rowse Posey (Kevin) of Chandler, TX; her seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
