Joan S. Anderson

Joan Crawford Sharp Anderson was born on March 30, 1938, in Ludlow, MS to James and Jodie (Kincaid) Sharp.  She spent her early years in Mississippi, but later moved to Gary IN. With her husband Eddie L. Anderson where they raised their family. Joan enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching westerns.  She was an active member of New Friendship M. B. Church in Gary IN.  Later in life she moved back to Ludlow, Mississippi. 

She Leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Charlene Collins, Debra Mitchell, Belinda Greer and Tina Anderson; her sons, Kenneth Sharp and Jeffery Anderson; her aunt Lynell Brown; her sisters-in-law, Winnie Kincaid and Callie Denson; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her special people in her life, John McCray, Rodney Jenkins, Barthenna Brooks and Shelly Harris.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents James and Jodie Sharp, her husband, Eddie Lee Andreson, her brother Clark Gable Sharp, her sister Irwanna Phillips, her two daughters, Teresa Anderson and Gloria Sharp, foster brothers, Robert, Moses and Willie B. Denson, and one grandson, Derrick Mitchell.

Our hearts are flooded with sorrow over the passing of our loved one. Yet during this time of sorrow toy have lifted many of our burden, for which we say thank you.
