Sharon Denise ""Rabbit"" Jennings

Sharon Denise “Rabbit” Jennings, 43, passed away on Sunday April 4, 2021 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Friday April 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM until 6 PM and Saturday, April 10, 2021 8:00 AM until 11:45 AM all at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel. Services will follow at 12:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Willie Robinson officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill M.B. Cemetery, Morton, MS. Although state requirements have ended, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing to continue helping control the spread of Covid-19.
Sharon was born in Hinds County on November 29, 1977 to Henry Earl Anderson and Mellie Anderson. Sharon was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Christian Triumph M.B. Church of Morton, MS. Sharon loved listening to gospel and blues music. She was a 1996 graduate of Morton High School.
Sharon is survived by her parents Henry Earl and Mellie Anderson of Morton, MS; 1 daughter, Marquita Washington of Morton, MS; 2 sons, Jerald Jennings, Jr. of Morton, MS and Lawrence Ficklin, Jr. of Morton, MS; 1 brother, Henry L. Slaughter of Harperville, MS and one sister, Charnetta Harper of Flowood, MS; also a number of aunts, uncles, cousins & other relatives.
