James Leslie Greenlee, Jr.

James Leslie Greenlee. Jr., age 76, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Baptist Anderson in Meridian, MS.  There is be no services at this time.

James was born to James L. Greenlee, Sr. and Francis Miranda Scherr on July 7, 1947, in Monroe, LA.  He moved from Monroe, LA to Scott County, MS where he lived for the past thirty years.  James loved bird watching, watching squirrels and baby sitting his grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Francis Greenlee and his brother, Ed Greenlee.  He is survived by his daughter, Miranda Ellsworth of Lake, MS; his five grandchildren and his five great grandchildren; his lifelong best friends, Wanda Weems and Terry Gremillion.
