James Timmothy Crain, a beloved son, brother, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at MS Baptist Medical Center. Born on June 20, 1966, in Forest, Mississippi, Timmothy's life was marked by resilience, love, and the profound connections he shared with family, friends, and caregivers.

A native of Forest, Mississippi, Timmothy was one of twins, a bond tragically altered in childhood by the loss of his brother Tom at the tender age of five. From the age of twelve, Timmothy resided at the Hudspeth Regional Center in Rankin County, where he was deeply cared for and treasured by the staff who came to know him not only as a resident but as a dear friend. His presence touched many lives, and the affection he received was a testament to his spirit and lovable nature.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Henry R. and Beulah Irene Crain, his maternal grandparents, Barney Lee and Tommye Dee Waggoner, and his brother Jeffrey Thomas Crain. These family members laid a foundation of love and guidance that shaped Timmothy’s journey.

Timmothy is survived by his devoted parents, James D. and Hilda W. Crain, who remained steadfast pillars of support throughout his life. He is also survived by his siblings—Tammy (Kirk) Paulsen, Barry "Robbie" (Dawn) Crain, and Joseph (Julie) Crain—and several nieces and nephews whose lives he enriched in many ways.

The family invites all who knew and loved Timmothy to attend his visitation and funeral services at Wolf Funeral Services - Morton, located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, MS 39117.
