Ina Marie Wedgeworth

Ina Marie Wedgeworth, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 10:50 AM, all at Clear Springs Baptist Church in Louin, MS.  Services will take place at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in the Clear Springs Baptist Cemetery in Louin, MS. Rev. Nathan Yates will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Ina was born to Silas Bryan Shelton and Myrtie Brown Shelton on November 12, 1933, in Monticello, KY.  She had lived in the Clear Springs Community since 1979, formerly living in Indianapolis, IN.  

Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Wedgeworth, parents, Silas and Myrtie Shelton, two sisters, Ovaline Guffey and Marjorie Hunt, five brothers, Everett, Freddie, Robert, Charlie and Silas C. Shelton, Jr., great grandchild, Jaxson Andrew See.  She was survived by her three sons, Richard Wedgeworth of Johnson City, TN, Wayne Wedgeworth of Louin, MS and Tony Wedgeworth of Forest, MS; two daughters, Sharon Osborne and Kathy Hopper, both of Indianapolis, IN; twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wedgeworth, Tyler Wedgeworth, Dalan Wedgeworth, Patrick Wedgeworth, Jason Osborne and Bobby Oborne.
