Mr. Rodney G. Holmes age 67, of Morton, MS passed away Friday October 11, 2019 at Merritt Health in Brandon, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Saturday October 12, 2019 from 1:30 PM until 2:50 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS at 3:00 PM. Brother Billy Ray Parker will officiate. Burial will be at Holly Bush Methodist Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. There will be no graveside services.
Rodney was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. A Baptist by faith, he was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Morton, MS. He loved watching old westerns and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ance and Geneva Holmes; siblings, Roger Dale Holmes, Billy Holmes, Shirley Reid and Bobbie Holmes. He is survived by his daughter; Sandra Jo Holmes of Harperville, MS; brother Gary Holmes of Morton, MS; numerous nieces and nephews including; Tyler Parkman, Carissa Sebren and Candice Malone, whom he considered as his children; and his very special niece, Victoria Sebren of Morton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Parkman. Dustin Stinson, Sidney Manning, Christopher Peavey, Casey Reid, Mike Holmes.
