Mrs. Peggy Angela Hodges Rawson age 82, passed away on Monday October 5, 2020 in Forest, MS. A visitation will be held on Saturday October 10, 2020 from 9:30AM until 11:50AM at Steele Baptist Church in Forest, MS. A funeral service will be on Saturday October 10, 2020 at Steele Baptist Church at 12:00PM with graveside service to follow at Antioch Steele Cemetery. Brother Joey Smith will officiate.

Peggy was born July 18, 1938 in Richton, MS to William Gavin and Julia Delores Myrick Hodges. Peggy graduated from Richton High School in Richton, MS. She had lived in Forest, MS for the past 50 years. She retired from the Bank of Forest in 2000. She was a member of Steele Baptist Church. She was a choir member, at one time she taught Sunday School Class and Discipleship Training Class. She was secretary of Sunday School and Discipleship Training and was a member of W.O.M. Peggy loved the Lord, her church and her family and she loved to sing. Her email address was songnmyhrt and she really had a song in her heart and knew a song almost for everything going on, for any situation that came up.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Deborah Angela Warren; her former husband, Glen L. Warren.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Rawson of Forest, MS; her sons, Kenneth Warren (Linda) of Forest, MS, Keith Warren (Pam) of Forest, MS; step-sons; Lloyd Rawson (Laura) of Loganville, GA, David Rawson of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Gene Hodges (De Beth) of Moselle, MS, Gerald Hodges ( Martha) of New Albany, MS; step-grandchildren; Kristen Schneider (William), Beth Rawson, Lee Ann Miller (Morgan); five grandchildren, Jessie Warren (Joy); Justin Warren, Joseph Warren (Angel) Braiden Warren, Chloe Warren; six great grandchildren, Levi Warren, Stella Warren, Gideon Warren, Annie Mae Warren, Olivia Kate Warren, Madelyn Turbville; her aunt, Betty Myrick Brunson of Petal, MS.

Pallbearers are Adam Hodges, Tim Hodges, Sam Hodges, Jessie Warren, Justin Warren and Joseph Warren. Honorary Pallbearers are, Braiden Warren, Paul Brunson, Chloe Warren, Stella Warren, Annie Mae Warren, Madelyn Turbville, Levi Warren and Gideon Warren.
