Laverne Elaine Hazelwood

Mrs. Elaine L. Hazelwood age 80, passed away Thursday December 26, 2019 at Brandon Court in Brandon, MS. A family led memorial service will be held at Thorn Hill Baptist Church on Sunday December 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
Elaine was a resident of Pelahatchie, MS for 9 years after moving from Iowa. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Thorn Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting,baking and she loved to read. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Hilda, Barbara, and Karen; Brother, James and her parents, Isaac Vernon Craieger and Nellie Skidmore. She is survived by her son, Melvin Hazelwood (Glenda) of Pelahatchie, MS; siblings, Shirley Wallerab of Iowa, Marsha Webber of Iowa, Geri Craieger of Iowa, Denise Brown of Iowa, Darrell Craieger of Iowa; two grandchildren, Jennifer Andrews, Brandon Hazelwood and five great grandchildren.
