Naida Jean Harrison (Richardson)

Mrs. Naida Jean Harrison, age 78 passed away Thursday April 18, 2019 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Monday April 22, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1:50pm at Jesus Name House of Prayer in Sylvarena, MS. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Jesus Name House of Prayer in Sylvarena, MS followed by burial at Gasque Chapel Cemetery in Lorena, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Davy Hammons.
Mrs. Harrison was a lifelong resident of Smith county Mississippi. She was a faithful member of Jesus Name House of Prayer in Sylvarena, MS. She loved cooking, gardening, singing, watching western movies and was famous for her “Mama Jeans Fried Apple Pies” She also loved gospel singing.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie Claudine Richardson and Coy Enoch Richardson; her sisters Louise Barley and Barbara Ann Adams; her brothers, Gilbert, Robert, Coy Jr., James “Dub” and Lee Richardson; her daughter Brenda Kay McMullan and granddaughter, Brandi Baldwin. She is survived by 7 children, Bonnie Jeffcoats of Kosciusko, MS; Linda Dawson(Ernie) of Whitwell, TN; Shelia Ratcliff(Lee) of Raleigh, MS; Danny Harrison( Rhonda) of Anacoco, LA; Teresa May (Lloyd) of Raleigh,MS; Debbie Maas(Stanley) of Raleigh, MS; Melina Westbrook(Danny) of Sylvarena, MS; her sister Ruby Terry of McLeod, TX; her brothers Lewis Richardson of Oklahoma; Freddy “ Terrell” Richardson of Avinger, TX; twenty three grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
