James Roy "Buddy" Harris

James Roy Harris (Buddy), age 63, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at his residence in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will take place at 11:00 AM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery in Smith County, MS. Bro. Tam Maddox will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Rush Harris, Jr. and Emma Francais Stewart Harris. He is survived by two children, David (Patricia) Harris of Forest, MS and Shelley Beckham of Forest, MS; two sisters, Trudy Harris of Birmingham, AL and Debbie Smith of Magee, MS; brother, Roy Harris of Magee, MS and two grandchildren, Brandon Harris and Mason Shelby.
