Mr. James G. Harris Jr. age 59 passed away Sunday August 18, 2019 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. A private visitation will be held Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. A private graveside service will be held at Lorena Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS at 11:00 AM on August 21, 2019. Brother Norris Ables will officiate.
James was a native of Lorena, MS, he lived in Mathiston, MS for the last five years after moving from Morton, MS where he’d lived for 22 years. James was a 1978 graduate of Raleigh High School. After graduation he began his career with BellSouth,later AT&T for 28 years. He is preceded in death by his father Gordon Harris. He is survived by his wife, Janice Wolfe Harris of Mathiston, MS; his mother, Pauline Harris of Lorena, MS; twin sons, James Ryan Harris (Cary) of Mathiston, MS and John Ross Harris (Kaley) of Mathiston, MS; one brother, Stephan Harris ( Angela) of Katy, TX; three grandchildren, Camden Ross Harris, Blake Leigh Harris and Brody James Harris.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
