Harold D. Crocker, a respected longtime resident of Lake, Mississippi, passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on September 5, 1952, in Newton County, Mississippi, Harold’s life was marked by dedication both to his family and his work, along with a passion for outdoor activities and mechanical pursuits.
Harold devoted much of his professional life to the truck driving industry, working with various companies through the span of his career. His commitment to his vocation was matched by his love for the open road and the freedom it allowed him. Beyond his professional endeavors, Harold found joy in horse trail riding, riding motorcycles, and tinkering with sports cars—hobbies that brought him much happiness and relaxation.
Having called Lake, Mississippi, home for more than fifty years, Harold was a familiar and cherished figure in the community. His passing leaves a significant void among those who knew him.
Harold is survived by his beloved wife, Annie L. Wilkerson Crocker, who stood faithfully by his side. He is also remembered fondly by his children: daughter Alicia Morehead, along with her husband Michael; and brothers James Crocker (Reba), Michael Crocker (Suzette), Ronnie Crocker (Karensa), and Randy Crocker, and sisters, Mary Ann Wilkerson and Diane Gregory (Grady). Harold took great pride in being a grandfather to Spence, David, and Benjy Morehead. His extended family includes several nieces and nephews who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Lenburg Crocker and Julia Cooksey; his brother, Billy Crocker; his sister-in-law, Edna Crocker; and his brother-in-law, Ronald Wilkerson.
Visitation for Harold will be held on April 9, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services - Lake, located at 136 Front Street, Lake, Mississippi 39092. Following the visitation, interment will take place at Dennis Cemetery on Dennis Graveyard Road, beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be no funeral service, only a visitation. The ceremony will mark the final resting place of a man whose presence touched so many lives.
Pallbearers: David Crocker, James Crocker Jr., Jason Wilkerson, B.J. Poole, Brandon Harmon, Spence Morehead, David Morehead, and Benjy Morehead. Honorary Pallbearers are Shannon Harmon, Larry Hester, Clifford Hester, and Delbert Graham.
Harold D. Crocker’s life was one of steadfast dedication and joyful pursuits. He will be deeply missed but warmly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing and a comfort to his family and friends in the days to come.
